The Breeders' Cup and Horse Racing Radio Network announced an agreement for HRRN to become the exclusive national radio network for the 2009 and 2010 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
HRRN will provide live coverage of this year’s Breeders' Cup World Championships on Nov. 6-7 from Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. The agreement grants HRRN exclusive rights for terrestrial and extraterrestrial broadcast of this year's event. HRRN will provide 3 1/2 hours of live coverage on Nov. 6 from 3:30-7 p.m. ET, and will continue on Saturday with live coverage from 1-7 p.m. ET. Mike Penna, President of HRRN, will host the Breeders' Cup broadcasts with analysts Jude Feld and Sean Clancy.
In addition to the terrestrial broadcast, the HRRN coverage of the Breeders’ Cup will be streamed live around the world on breederscup.com and horseracingradio.net both days. Mike Penna, president of HRRN, will host the Breeders’ Cup broadcasts.
The 2010 Breeders’ Cup will be held at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. The 2009 event marks the third consecutive year that HRRN will broadcast the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

Among the stations that carried the 2008 Breeders’ Cup World Championships were: KHTK 1140 AM – Sacramento; WEPN 1050 AM – New York; WABY 1160 AM – Saratoga Springs, NY; KGOW 1560 AM – Houston; KLAY 1180 AM – Tacoma-Seattle; XTRA 1360 AM – San Diego; WEJL 630 AM – Wilkes Barre-Scranton, Pa; WLXO 96.1 FM – Lexington, Ky., and WQKC 1450 AM – Louisville.
