Silent Name to Shuttle to Brazil

Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs Farm announced that grade II winner Silent Name   will stand the Southern Hemisphere breeding season at Haras Ponta Pora in Brazil.

A Japanese-bred, 7-year-old Silent Name (Sunday Silence--Danzigaway, by Danehill) stands for $5,000 (Canadian funds) at Gardiner Farms near Caledon East, Ontario, Canada, as part as a joint venture between Adena Springs and Dr. Michael Colterjohn of Gardiner. Silent Name’s first foals arrived this year.

TBS Agency (Brazil) brokered the deal between Adena Springs and Haras Ponta Pora.
