The Association of Racing Commissioners International Pari-Mutuel Auditors and Regulators Conference on regulating, testing, and monitoring pari-mutuel wagering systems is scheduled for July 7-8 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Hotel.
The two-day conference will open with jurisdictional updates on cross jurisdictional tote testing; cancel delays; and cross jurisdictional audits and investigations of wagering anomalies.
Also during the opening session, Tom Casaregola, director of audits and investigations for the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, will speak about the New York Tote Standards and Independent Monitoring System, and Kevin Mullally, general counsel and director of governmental affairs for Gaming Laboratories International will speak about testing and certify totalisator systems.
There will also be discussions of the RCI Model Rules pertaining for tote standards and security, and ways to achieve uniform enactment.
