Forest Danger's First Winner

Grade I winner Forest Danger sired his first winner when his son Recession Buster won May 7 at Golden Gate Fields. Making his initial start, Recession Buster went right for the lead and won the four-furlong race by 1 1/2 lengths in :47.79. Bred in Kentucky by Thorne and Varney, Recession Buster races for Philip Lebherz.

Recession Buster is the first foal from the winning Thunder Gulch   mare Forever Bertie, whose yearling colt is by Forest Danger. 

Winner of the 2005 Carter Handicap (gr. I), Forest Danger (Forestry  —Starry Ice, by Ice Age) stands for $12,500 at the Taylor family’s Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky.
