Pioneerof the Nile, a leading Kentucky Derby contender.

A full sister to Pioneerof the Nile  , one of the leading contenders for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), was foaled April 23. 

Owned by Zayat Stables, the newborn filly is by Empire Maker out of the stakes-winning Lord At War mare Star of Goshen.

Star of Goshen, who is boarded at John Sikura’s Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington, will be bred to Street Cry  .
