Thunder Gulch   won the 1995 Kentucky Derby at odds of 25-1, as well as the Belmont Stakes, was retired at the end of his 3-year-old season due to a leg injury. His most prominent offspring thus far is undoubtedly Point Given  , who won the Preakness and Belmont Stakes in 2001 en route to being named champion 3-year-old that year.
