Pure Precision Filly Among Standouts

A Pure Precision– B. J. Telicus filly and a Dixie Union– Duet gelding named General Staff were the fastest workers at a quarter mile April 18 during the fourth and final session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. spring sale of 2-year-olds in training in Central Florida. They each covered the distance in :20 3/5.

Niall Brennan Stables, agent, is the consignor of the Pure Precision filly, and Sescan, agent for Paul D. King, is the consignor of General Staff.

Eight horses breezed an eighth of a mile in :9 4/5, which was the fastest time of the day for the distance. They included Got Dimples, a Wildcat Heir  – Bright Smile filly consigned by Sonshine Acres; a Forest Wildcat -- Broke the Code filly consigned by Tradewinds Farm, agent; a Peace Rules– Cajun Dawn colt consigned by Costanzo Sales; and Sarindi, a Sarava – Camilla colt consigned by L. G., agent.

The others were  Poker Trick, a Werblin– Creative Trickster colt consigned by Leprechaun Racing, agent; a Speightstown   – Deb’s Charm filly consigned by Costanzo Sales; a More Than Ready   – Dream Street colt consigned by Eddie Woods, agent; and an Alke – Dreamy Dream filly consigned by Best A Luck Farm, agent.


Da’ Ghostrunner, a Valid Belfast – Dee’s Secret Doll colt, was the fastest worker at three furlongs with a clocking of :32 4/5. Sescan, agent, is D’ Ghostrunner’s consignor.


The OBS spring auction will be held April 20-23, with selling beginning each day at 10:30 a.m. (EDT).
