The Racing Art Collection of Charles H. Thieriot will be one of the two special exhibits at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame this summer. The exhibition opens July 22 and features seven extraordinary British racing paintings by three important nineteenth century artists--John Ferneley Sr., John Frederick Herring, Sr., and James Pollard--who documented races held at Liverpool, Doncaster, and Chester between 1828 and 1840...
John Henry, one of the most successful and well-known handicap horses of the last 20 years, now has his own book. "The Little Horse That Could" is the subject of Eclipse Press' latest in the Thoroughbred Legends series. Written by Steve Haskin, the book chronicles the gelding's racing career through his retirement to the Kentucky Horse Park, where he still lives.
