Hull Headed to Coolmore Lexington Stakes

Hull, a recent late nomination to the Triple Crown, remained undefeated with a 7 3/4-length allowance win at Turfway Park April 2. He covered 6 ½ furlongs in 1:16.21 in his second career race.

A son of Holy Bull out of the Chimes Band mare Band Queen, Hull is owned by Team Valor International, Gary Barber, and Heiligbrodt Racing Stable. The colt  made his career debut Feb. 7 at the Fair Grounds, breaking his maiden by 4 ¼ lengths while going six furlongs in 1:10.41. ,

The Dale Romans trainee is scheduled to run next in the Coolmore Lexington Stakes a(gr. II) at Keeneland April 18. He then will be pointed for either the Kentucky Derby Presented By Yum! Brands (gr. I) or the Preakness Stakes (gr. I).
