Champion Stardom Bound is scheduled to run in the April 4 Ashland Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland, but her half-brother by Roman Ruler  won’t be offered during the Keeneland April sale of 2-year-olds in training in Lexington.

The dark bay or brown colt has been scratched, according to information posted on Keeneland’s Web site. He was scheduled to go through the sale ring on the second night of the auction, April 7, as part of Eddie Woods’ consignment.

As of March 30, Keeneland listed the hip numbers of 54 horses that were out of the auction, which has 216 juveniles cataloged. Among them, in addition to Stardom Bound’s half-brother, were a Distorted Humor  half-brother to 2006 Ruffian Handicap (gr. I) winner Pool Land, a Tale of the Cat  half-brother to 2007 Norfolk Stakes (gr. I) winner Dixie Chatter, and a Gulch  half-brother to 2008 Louisiana Derby (gr. II) winner Pyro.
