Sky Mesa  , who was hoped to be back breeding around March 20 after two operations related to colic, remains on the sidelines at Robert N. Clay’s Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky.

According to the farm, Sky Mesa is doing well, but no decision has been reached as to a return date to breeding.

Nine-year-old Sky Mesa (Pulpit  --Caress, by Storm Cat) ranks atop this year’s third-crop sires list by progeny earnings.
