Kinsella, the 2007 Saratoga sale topper whose price was more than double the second-highest-priced yearling, won March 14 at Gulfstream Park in his first start. The 3-year-old Mr. Greeley  colt scored by three-quarters of a length at 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:42.36 for Team Valor International.

Team Valor paid $2.2 million for Kinsella as a yearling, purchasing him from Gainesway, agent. The first foal from the King of Kings mare Win My Heart, Kinsella was bred in Kentucky by Liberation Farm and Oratis.

Trainer Todd Pletcher might run Kinsella next in the May 1 Crown Royal American Turf Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Churchill Downs.
