Even the Score's Fee Doubled to $15,000 Edited press release Citing the success of foals from his first crop that raced in 2008 and increased demand, Millennium Farms announced the stud fee for Even the Score has been doubled from $7,500 to $15,000 for any additional mares booked to the stallion for the 2009 breeding season. “Due to the overwhelming demand for Even the Score, his prominence as a freshman sire, and the fact that his book is essentially full for 2009, we will accept a few more quality mares at the $15,000 fee,” said Ro Parra, owner of Millennium Farms. A gray son of Unbridled’s Song out of the Rahy mare Ashtabula, Even the Score won or placed in 19 of 29 lifetime starts, earning $751,629. As a 6-year-old, he won the Californian Stakes (gr. II) and Mervyn LeRoy Handicap (gr. II), and was third in the grade I Hollywood Gold Cup. |
