Breeding Incentive to Johar

 Mill Ridge Farm is offering a special deal for breeders who have bred to grade I winner Johar   in the past or are sending multiple mares by offering them seasons at $5,000 each.

“We also are encouraging new breeders by letting them breed for $6,500, as well as implementing a selected state breeders program where we are offering a one-time complimentary, no-guarantee season to approved mares foaling in approved state-bred programs in return to be listed as co-breeder,” said sales and stallion director Mike Recio.

Johar (Gone West--Windsharp, by Lear Fan) entered stud at Mill Ridge near Lexington in 2005. The farm is owned by Alice Chandler and her husband, Dr. John Chandler.
