Ecton Park, Running Stag to Korea

Graded stakes winners Ecton Parkand Running Staghave been sent to Korea for stallion duty.

A grade I winner and millionaire, 13-year-old Ecton Park (Forty Niner--Daring Danzig, by Danzig) was sold to Isidore Farm. He has sired nine stakes and the earners of $7 million. His chief runner, Tres Borrachos, won last year’s Swaps Stakes (gr. II) at Hollywood Park.

Ecton Park stood at the Greely brothers Wintergreen Stallion Station near Midway, Ky.

Running Stag (Cozzene--Fruhlingstag, by Orsini II) will stand at C&A’s Taepyung Mogjang. He last stood at Judice Farms near Sunset, La., in 2008.  He was owned at the time by Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs in partnership with Turf Express.

A millionaire and grade II winner, 15-year-old Running Stag has sired six stakes winners, including Italian champion Great Uncle Ted, and the earners of $9.6 million.
