Vermont to Rancho San Miguel

California stallion Vermont will stand next year's breeding season for $1,500 live foal at Rancho San Miguel near San Miguel, Calif. Vermont, who formerly stood at Blooming Hills near Clements, is the sire of Puerto Rican champion Play in Vermont and Ecuadorian champion El Borjita, plus four North American stakes-placed runners. Vermont (Chief's Crown--High Schemes, by High Echelon) was graded stakes-placed and won seven of 27 races on his way to $199,085 in earnings.
