NewLife Stud, owner of second-crop sire Tropical Storm, is offering the next 20 2009 seasons to Tropical Storm at a reduced stud fee of $1,500 stands and nurses. The advertised stud fee is $5,000. A 9-year-old son of Storm Cat, Tropical Storm stands at John T.L. Jones III’s Walmac Farm near Lexington.

Tropical Storm is out of the grade I-winning Carson City mare Pearl City, who is a half-sister to two graded winners, including grade I winner Hennessy (by Storm Cat). Tropical Storm has 58 stakes horses under his first three dams.

The promotion is offered to breeders as a reward for their continued market participation. To receive this promotion, contact NewLife Stud at (323) 481-5760, or Jane Braugh at (323) 481-5760.
