Statue of Liberty, a Kentucky-bred son of Storm Cat, will shuttle to Eliza Park in Kerrie, Victoria, Australia, from East Stud in Japan for the 2009 Southern Hemisphere breeding season.

Statue of Liberty, who stood in Australia in 2004-06, is the sire of 2008 Australian stakes winners Dan Baroness and Elysees. The former is a group winner. Overall, Statue of Liberty has sired nine stakes horses in Australia, Europe, and North America.

An English group III winner, Statue of Liberty is a half-brother to champion and successful U.S. stallion Lemon Drop Kid   and is from the female family responsible for leading North American sire A.P. Indy. He is out of the Seattle Slew mare Charming Lassie.

A fee will be announced later.
