Sunday Silence Maintains Sire Lead in Japan

Sunday Silence, who has dominated the Japanese sire lists since his arrival on that island nation from North America in the early 1990s, holds a sizable lead on the 2001 leading sires list by progeny earnings over runner-up Tony Bin. Up to July 1, Sunday Silence is represented by the earners of $24,352,674, compared to the $14,293,460 for Tony Bin. Brian's Time and Afleet rank third and fourth, respectively.
