Hold for Gold, Mambo Train to Fleming

Hold for Gold and Mambo Train will stand in 2009 at Fleming Thoroughbred Farm near Willcox, Ariz. Both are owned by Zimmerman Farm LC.

Hold for Gold (Red Ransom--Kydall, by Mr. Prospector) has sired a dozen stakes horses, including six with earnings of $200,000-plus each. Hold for Gold’s career progeny earnings are $4.6 million. The 14-year-old stallion will stand for $1,500. 

Eight-year-old Mambo Train (Kingmambo--Ticket to Houston, by Houston) won the Turf Paradise Derby and placed in two grade II stakes. He earned $278,406.

Mambo Train, who will be standing his second year at stud, is a half-brother to grade II winner Runway Model. His fee is $1,000.
