The first North American foal by graded stakes winner Storm Surge is a colt born Jan. 15 at Nathan Fox’ Richland Hills near Midway, Ky.

The colt is the first foal from the Golden Missile  mare Evening Bell, whose stakes-placed dam is a half-sister to Canadian champion Term Limits and Canadian classic winner Val Dansant.

Storm Surge (Storm Cat—Especially, by Mr. Prospector) stands at Richland Hills. His first season at stud was in Argentina at La Mission in 2007. His 2009 fee is $5,000.
