Lingering effects from a strong winter storm have led Turfway Park to cancel live racing the afternoon of Jan. 29.

Officials said road conditions in the area are preventing horses stabled off-site to safely ship to the Northern Kentucky track. The facility remains open for simulcasting, however.

Live racing is expected to resume Jan. 30 with first post set for 5:30 p.m. EST.

The Jan. 29 cancellation is the fourth of the winter/spring meet that began Jan. 1.
