As a freshman sire in 2008, Soto was represented by four stakes winners, including two-time Japanese stakes winner Suni. Soto’s career progeny earnings are $1 million.

A graded stakes winner both years he raced, Soto won the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (gr. II) at 2, plus the West Virginia Derby (gr. III) in track-record time at 3. He ran second in the Super Derby (gr. II) as a 3-year-old.
