Slew’s Saga, a major stakes winner by Seattle Slew, will stand at Sue Hubbard and Associates near Santa Margarita, Calif. His fee is $1,000.

Slew’s Saga won the 2004 Cup and Saucer Stakes on grass at Woodbine as a homebred for Mickey and Karen Taylor, who raced Triple Crown winner Seattle Slew with Dr. Jim Hill and his wife, Sally. Slew’s Saga formerly stood at Oakhurst Thoroughbreds near Newberg, Ore. He is out of the multiple stakes-producing Southern Halo mare Belle Breesing.

The first foal by 7-year-old Slew’s Saga is a colt born Jan. 3 at Oakhurst. The colt is out of the True Confidence mare Truly a Cat.
