Wilko, the 2004 Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner, sired his first foal Jan. 8 at Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs South near Williston, Fla. The newborn colt is the initial offspring out of the winning High Brite mare Brite ’n Happy.

Wilko (Awesome Again  —Native Roots, by Indian Ridge) stands at Adena Springs South. His 2009 fee is $7,500.
