With windchill temperatures again expected to plunge well below zero, Turfway Park has canceled live racing for Friday, Jan. 16, the second consecutive day the Kentucky racetrack has done so. The track will remain open for simulcasting, with gates opening at 11:15 a.m.
Live racing is expected to resume Saturday, Jan. 17 and Sunday, Jan. 18 as temperatures moderate. As already scheduled, the track also will be open for live racing on Monday, Jan. 19. First post all three days is 1:10 p.m.
