Jazil’s first reported foal is a colt that is the initial offspring of the Mineshaft mare Art Affair. Bred by Calumet Farm, the colt was foaled Jan. 11 at that Lexington farm.
Winner of the 2006 Belmont Stakes (gr. I), Jazil (Seeking the Gold--Better Than Honour, by Deputy Minister) stands at Sheikh Hamdan’s Shadwell Farm near Lexington. His 2009 fee is $10,000.
