F-T Kentucky Mixed Sale Has 306 Horses

Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 306 horses for its Kentucky winter mixed sale, which will be held in Lexington Feb. 9. The auction will begin at 10 a.m. (EST).

Yearlings scheduled to be offered include offspring from the first crops of the stallions Badge of Silver, Bluegrass Cat, First Samurai, Rockport Harbor, and Silver Train. Among the established sires with progeny in the sale are El Corredor  , Grand Slam  , Lemon Drop Kid  , Malibu Moon  , and Speightstown  .

In addition, more than 120 broodmares have been cataloged. Their covering sires include Bernstein  , Langfuhr  , Lion Heart  , Macho Uno  , and Speightstown  . More than 80 racing and/or broodmare prospects have been entered.

The sale will conclude with a session of horses of racing age, stallions, and stallion prospects.

Catalogs will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by Jan. 22.
