Invasor's First Foal Is a Colt

The first reported foal by 2006 Horse of the Year and champion older male Invasor is a colt born Jan. 11 at Sheikh Hamdan’s Shadwell Farm near Lexington, where Invasor stands.

The colt is the initial foal out of English stakes winner Abby Road, who is by Danehill. An Irish-bred, Abby Road is out of a half-sister to major winner and sire Unbridled's Song  . Abby Road is booked to Shadwell stallion Daaher  .

Argentine-bred Invasor (Candy Stripes—Quendom, by Interprete) capped his championship season with a victory in the Breeders’ Cup Classic – Powered by Dodge (gr. I). His 2009 fee is $28,000.
