The first foal by grade I winner Corinthian  arrived Jan. 11 at the Beck family’s Gainesway Farm near Lexington, where Corinthian stands.

Bred by Gainesway Thoroughbreds, the newborn filly is the first foal out of the unraced Storm Cat mare Sister Kit, whose dam is a full sister to English group II winner Arkadian Hero.

Corinthian ((Pulpit  —Multiply, by Easy Goer) won the Metropolitan (gr. I) and Gulfstream Park (gr. I) Handicaps and the inaugural Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile. His 2009 fee is $30,000.
