A winter snow and ice storm forced the cancellation of the live night racing program on Jan. 10 at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.
As a result, the 2009 Winter World Series of Handicapping has been rescheduled for Jan. 24. Entries are still being accepted for the contest, which is based on wagering on the live program from Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races and Slots. First prize is an all-expense paid trip to the 2009 Coast Casino Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.
Live racing is to resume at Penn National on Jan. 14 at 6:45 p.m.
