Domino Stud Streamlining Operations

Domino Stud of Lexington is streamlining its operations.

 More than 20 horses, including Domino’s breeding stock, will be offered  at the Keeneland January horses of all ages sale  through Meg Levy’s Bluewater Sales.  The group includes the Last Tycoon mare La Cucina and her yearling colt by Maria’s Mon. La Cucina is the dam of grade II winners Sir Cherokeeand Miss Isella.

Horses currently in training with Ian Wilkes will be retained to continue the operation of the racing stable, and the family is making plans to increase their involvement in this area, according to Elaine Jones, the widow of Domino owner Kenneth T. Jones. The family also plans to continue operating Domino Stud.

Kenneth T. Jones died in October of last year.
