TVG and the New York Racing Association have reached a two-year agreement on the distribution of NYRA signals, allowing Aqueduct programming to return to the horse racing network Jan. 3.
Officials with NYRA, which Jan. 1 issued a statement saying it was “disappointed” an agreement wasn’t reached with TVG for 2009, said in a Jan. 2 release necessary approval had been received from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board.
TVG, which is being offered for sale by parent company Macrovision Solutions Corp., has yet to reach agreements for such top winter racing meets as Fair Grounds and Gulfstream Park.
