Parade Ground to Legend Farm

Parade Ground, a multiple graded stakes winner, will stand at Ted Griffith’s Legend Farm near Coleman, Okla., for a fee of $2,000.

A 13-year-old son of Kingmambo, Parade Ground has sired six stakes horses, including Puerto Rican champion Divac and other stakes winners Becky’s Flute and My Parade. A dozen of Parade Ground’s runners have earned $100,000-plus. Parade Ground has sired the career earners of $3.9 million.

Parade Ground won such stakes as the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame (gr. II) and Lexington (gr. IIIT) Stakes and earned a career total of $794,995. He is a full or half-brother to five stakes winners, including Canadian champion Wavering Girl, dam of grade I winner Military. He is out of stakes-placed Battle Creek Girl (by His Majesty).

Parade Ground formerly stood at William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Texas near Hempstead.
