Dr. Laurence Seeman, who ran the Canyon Equine Clinic near Temecula, Calif., for more than three decades, died earlier this month. He was 71.
A native of South Dakota, Seeman graduated from the University of California Veterinary School at Davis and interned at the New Bolton Center in Pennsylvania specializing in equine reproduction. He joined the practice of Dr. Willard Ommert in Temecula in 1970, and a short time later established Canyon Equine Clinic, a practice limited to equine medicine.
Among his Thoroughbred clients were El Rancho Murietta, The Hat Ranch, Mekeel Ranch, El Rancho de Jaklin, and Ren Mar.
