The Oregon Racing Commission has approved a schedule change for Portland Meadows that will drop four Sunday programs in January while adding eight Wednesday dates through the end of February, the track announced.
The changes for the current meet go into effect Jan. 4. Also, first post has been changed to 12:45 p.m. Pacific beginning Jan. 5 through the end of the season March 24.
The new schedule means that Portland Meadows will race Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday through the end of February.
The following Sundays (four in total) have been dropped: Jan. 4, 11, 18 25. The Jan. 25 date was the final scheduled Sunday program of the meet.
The following Wednesdays (eight in total) have been added: Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28; Feb. 4, 11, 18, 15.
