OBS Winter Mixed Sale Has 613 Horses

The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has cataloged 613 horses for its 2009 winter mixed sale. The auction will be held Jan. 6 and 7 in Central Florida.

There will be a consignor preferred session (Hip Nos. 1-264) on the opening day and an open session (Hip Nos. 265-613) on the second. Included in the consignor preferred session are 143 mares consigned by Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs operation.

Buyers can view the catalog at the auction firm’s Web site: www.obssales.com. Print versions of the catalog are scheduled to be mailed next week.
