Sky Conqueror, a Canadian champion and a grade I winner at Churchill Downs, will enter stud in 2009 at Morgan Firestone’s Firestone Farms near Caledon, Ontario, Canada. His fee is $5,000 (Canadian funds).

Six-year-old Sky Conqueror, who offers an interesting 2 X 4 inbreeding to the great Canadian-bred Nijinsky II, won or placed in 13 of 20 races and earned $1,720,699 as a homebred for William Sorokolit Sr. He was Canada’s champion grass male of 2006.

The Ontario-bred Sky Conqueror captured the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic Stakes (gr. IT) at Churchill and three stakes in Canada, including the 2006-07 Northern Dancer Breeders’ Cup Turf (Can-IIT).  His five stakes-placings included the Pattison Canadian International Stakes (Can-IT).

By Sky Classic, Sky Conqueror was produced from the winning Conquistador Cielo mare Heavenly Ballerina.
