The first winners of $10,000 in the Churchill Downs Simulcast Network's "Big Ticket" contest were
Jack Collins of Erlanger, Ky., and
James Harkless of Croyden, Pa. The men placed winning bets at Turfway Park and Philadelphia Park, respectively, and were then drawn at random from all winning wagers placed nationwide on Churchill Downs Simulcast Network tracks conducting live racing. The promotion is being offered every Saturday and Sunday through July 29...Weanlings, mares, and horses of racing age will be sold in the upcoming
