Charles Fipke's Tale of Ekati won the grade I Hill 'n' Dale Cigar Mile at Aqueduct Nov. 29 when Stronach Stables' Harlem Rocker, who crossed the wire first by a nose, was disqualified and placed second.
Tale of Ekati, ridden by Edgar Prado for trainer Barclay Tagg, paid $19.80 to win. It was the second grade I victory for Tale of Ekati, who won the grade I Wood Memorial at Aqueduct earlier this year.
