Senure and With Anticipation (3) duel in the United Nations Handicap.
Senure was declared the winner of Sunday's $500,000 United Nations Handicap (gr. IT) at Monmouth Park following an interference disqualification against With Anticipation.

With Anticipation, ridden by Jon Court, crossed the finish line first by a head. After a three-minute inquiry, With Anticipation was disqualified for drifting in front of Senure in the stretch.

With Anticipation completed the 1 3/8 miles in track-record time of 2:13.56 on the firm turf course, finishing a head-length ahead of Senure. Gritty Sandie finished three lengths farther back in third, 1 3/4 lengths ahead of North East Bound. Arizona Storm, Ready to Roll, Honor Glide, and Moorish Prince completed the order of finish.

Juddmonte Farms' homebred Senure, ridden by Robbie Davis, paid $4.60, $2.80, and $2.20. With Anticipation returned $3.60 and $3. Gritty Sandie paid $3.60 to show. The winning exacta returned $21.60.

The win was the first in two starts on the year for the 5-year-old son of Nureyev, who improved his career record to six wins from 15 starts while earning the $300,000 winner's share of the purse. Prior to Sunday, Senure finished second to Bienamado in the Charles Whittingham Handicap (gr. IT) at Hollywood Park. As a 4-year-old, the Bobby Frankel trainee won the Fastness (gr. IIIT) and Steinlen Handicaps. (Chart, Equibase)
