There was a clearance rate of just 25% on the opening day of Goffs’ November foal sale at Kill, Ireland when 48 of the 193 lots offered were listed as sold. The gross for Nov. 17 was 300,800 euros, and the average price was 6,267 euros.

Trading was topped by a 35,000-euro Modigliani – Yulura colt consigned by Gary Swift Sales and bought by locally-based agent Bobby O’Ryan. Next on the leader board was a 34,000-euro son of Kheleyf purchased by Willie Browne’s Meadowlands Bloodstock Services.
