Graded stakes performer Sedgefield has been purchased by Jai Govind Stud for stallion duty in Jaipur, India. Mark Glyer brokered the deal for farm owner K.V. Singh.

Four-year-old Sedgefield (Smart Strike  --Belva, by Theatrical) placed in three stakes, including the 2007 Lane’s End Stakes (gr. II), and earned $249,803 for Silverton Hill. He is a full brother to turf champion English Channel.
