Whiskey Wisdom, one of Canada’s leading sires, will stand in 2009 at Neil McLeod’s Thunderbird Horse Centre near Brandon, Manitoba. His fee is $1,500 in Canadian funds.

A graded stakes winner by Wild Again, Whiskey Wisdom has sired 30 stakes horses and is represented by runners who average $69,683 in earnings. His 14 stakes winners include 2008 juvenile Double Malt, at Woodbine.

Whiskey Wisdom is one of four major stakes winners out of Canadian Broodmare of the Year Primarily (by Lord At War). He is being leased by a syndicate managed by Dr. Ross A. McKague from Kinghaven Farms and Windfields Farm under a  two-year agreement. He formerly stood at Windfields in Ontario.
