Graded stakes winner Scatmandu has been purchased for stallion duty at Charlie Pekanan’s Pekanan Farms in Thailand.  The 13-year-old son of Storm Catstood the 2008 season in New Mexico.

Scatmandu has sired five stakes winners, including graded winner Sheets, and four stakes-placed runners. He has $5.6 million in progeny earnings. Scatmandu is out of the Alydar mare Princess Alydar.

The transaction was brokered by Gene Palmieri of Silver Spur Equine in Texas and Bruno DeBerdt of Equi Air Services in California.
