Mockingbird Farm's Exciting Story will return to action Saturday at Woodbine in a one-mile allowance event over the E. P. Taylor Turf Course. The start will be his first since winning the May 28 Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I) at Belmont Park.

"A lot of his future this season depends on this race," said trainer Mark Casse. "He's only ever run on grass once before and he was coming off a nine month layoff when he did it."

Casse said is also considering the Atto Mile (Can-I) on Sept. 9 as a future start for Exciting Story before looking at Breeders' Cup possibilities.

Also in the race, which carries a purse of $73,900, are Red Scare, Val de Dash, Cracker*s Folly and Geraint.
