Multiple stakes winner Littleexpectations will stand in 2009 at Robert McDowell’s 519 Thoroughbreds near Arcadia, La. His fee is $2,500.
Eleven-year-old Littleexpectations, who sired 10 juvenile winners from his first crop, is the sire of grade II winner King of the Roxy and 2008 stakes winner He’s Boy Wonder, plus four stakes-placed runners. King of the Roxy won the Futurity (gr. II) and Hutcheson (gr. II) Stakes and placed in three graded stakes, including the Santa Anita Derby (gr. I). He’s Boy Wonder captured the $125,000 My Dandy Texas Stallion Stakes.
Littleexpectations (Valid Appeal--Mepache, by Iron Constitution) won the Sugar Bowl Handicap and Old Hickory Stakes at Fair Grounds at 2. He is a full brother to three stakes winners, including Texas stallion Valid Expectations.
Littleexpectations formerly stood at Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms Kentucky near Lexington.
