F-T Has 14-Sale Schedule in 2009

Fasig-Tipton will conduct 14 Thoroughbred sales in 2009 in five states: Kentucky, New York, Florida, Maryland, and Texas. There will be 25 days of auctions in all. The schedule begins with the Kentucky winter mixed sale in Lexington Feb. 8-9.
 
 "The way certain Thoroughbred events fall in next year's calendar, along with federal and national holidays, has required us to adjust the timing of three or four auctions in 2009,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “However, there are no radical changes and we look forward, with our consignors and buyers, to the schedule which includes opportunities for all categories of Thoroughbreds in our five different sales facilities."
