Gardens Glen Farm Purchased

Gardens Glen Farm in Lexington has been purchased by an entity affiliated with Scott T. Archer and David S. Coia Jr., and will be renamed Elkhorn Creek Farm it was announced Oct. 10. The property will be managed by the owners of Winchester Farm, which is adjacent to the 220-acre property, according to a Winchester Farm news release.

Elkhorn Creek Farm LLC recently acquired the property from John R. Glenney Jr. and Kim Glenney, according to Fayette County (Ky.)  property records. Archer and Coia are believed to be affiliated with Barclay Group, a commercial real estate company located in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Texas, according to the company’s Web site.

Winchester Farm, which is owned by Dr. Naoya Yoshida and his wife, Marie Yoshida-Debeusscher, will manage Elkhorn Creek Farm as an extension of Winchester Farm, according to the release. The two properties, which combined total 500 acres, will operate broodmare, yearling, and lay-up divisions, as well as boarding, sales prep and quarantine services.  

Bill Justice of Justice Real Estate represented buyer and seller in the transaction, according to the release.
