HRRN Sets Keeneland Broadcast Schedule

The Horse Racing Radio Network will provide live coverage of Keeneland’s feature race throughout the fall race meet that begins Oct. 3, and will air six hours of coverage of opening weekend.

Opening weekend features five grade I stakes: the Darley Alcibiades, First Lady, Shadwell Turf Mile, Lanes End Breeders’ Futurity, and Juddmonte Spinster. HRRN broadcasts will be carried on various affiliates throughout Kentucky, and will be streamed live on the HRRN Web site. Affiliate information is available on the HRRN site.

Coverage Oct. 3 runs from 4:30-5:30 (EDT), and continues with two hours Oct. 4 from 4-6 p.m. Live coverage Oct. 5 runs from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The broadcast will be hosted by Mike Penna and Pete Kules, with Jude Feld providing paddock reports.

In addition to the race coverage, HRRN will also host its morning talk show, the Equine Forum, live from Keeneland.  The Equine Forum airs from 8-10 a.m.
